WestJet my hat goes off for you

It is really nice to know that there are still companies out there that will go out of their way to help you.

As I mentioned earlier Reddy passed away (he was only 65). I want to share what happend to his daughter.

She was in B.C 4 hrs. up the Wistler Mountain camping with a friend. She had her phone off the whole time but she happend to see a bear cub outside their cabin so she turned on the phone to use the camera feature and at that moment her mom called to tell her. She packed up her stuff and ran/slid down the mountain to the car. (only tooked her 2hrs to get down) They drove staight to the airport(in Vancuver). She called airmiles to see if she could get her ticket changed. All they said was"sorry about your luck" you read the agreement before you got the tickets." So she was planing to just buy another ticket since she needed to get home.
She gets to the westjet booth and asked when the next flight was. They were "I'm sorry It just left the next one will be in 2 hrs." At this time she is crying and freaking out. The friend explain what was going on and they called the plane back for her. It was already on the runway. They asked for her ID and stuck her on the plane. They didn't charge her or anything. You can't get any nicer than that.
She was back in Edmonton in time to pick up her daughter from school so she could be the one to tell her daughter.

Another very helpful company was one of the Tim Hortins in Sherwood park. They ordered coffee for the reception after the furneral and when they said their name they Refused to let them pay for it , droped it off for them and included several dozen donutes. (mostly the kinds he liked) All the staff at that Tim's knew Reddy by name.
